Tier 2:
The SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2025 will be conducted in 2 phases- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

Tier 1:
- Tier II will include the following three sections having two modules each:
- Section-1: Module-I: Mathematical Abilities and Module-II: Reasoning and General Intelligence.
- Section-2: Module-I: English Language and Comprehension and Module-II: General Awareness.
- Section-3: Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test and Module-II: Skill Test/ Typing Test.
- Tier-2 will be conducted in two sessions – Session-1 & Session-2, on the same day. Session-I will include conducting of Section-1, Section-2 and Module-1 of Section-3. Session 2 will include conducting of Module 2 of Section 3.
- SSC CHSL Tier 2 will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions, except for Module 2 of Section 3. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module-2 (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section 2.
- There will be a Session I negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-1, Section-2 and Module-I of Section-3.

3. SSC MTS & Havaldar
Qualification: 10th Pass
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (MTS), 18 to 27 years (Havaldar)
Syllabus:
- SSC MTS Paper-I is an online paper having multiple choice questions in sections: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness.
- The entire paper consists of a total of 90 questions and 270 marks.
- The new SSC MTS Paper-I Exam will be conducted in 2 Sessions (Session I andSession II)
- Both Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted.
- Not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate.

SSC MTS Havaldar PET & PST
The candidates who have applied for SSC Havaldar posts have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Standard Test after qualifying SSC MTS Tier-1Exam. Followings are the PETand PST standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN as mentioned in SSC MTS Notification 2025.

4. SSC GD Constable
Qualification: 10th Pass
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years
Syllabus:
- The exam will be conducted in online mode.
- The questions will be of multiple-choice-based/Objective type.
- The CBT test consists of 4 sections General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/ Hindi.
- There will be 80 MCQS in total (20 MCQs each section).
- The time duration to complete the exam is 60 minutes (1 hour) and there is no sectional timing.
- Total marks for SSC GD CBT Exam is 160 (2 marks fo each correct answer).
- A penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer will be marked.
- The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) is conducted in English, Hindi and 13 Regional Languages viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
